GAMETHREAD: Jazz hosting Warriors - 1/13 7pm (mst) ROOT

I didn't mention Gobert and he's kind of irrelevant to your original point, but if you want to turn this into Gobert's defense vs Kanter's, you've already lost.

I wasn't trying to win anything and I am not comparing Goberts and Kanters defense. The stat shows that your cherry-picking was wrong. GSW just obliterated our whole team.

...

You said that the Jazz's defense was bad even when Kanter was on the bench. The stat isn't "cherry-picking" anything: The Warriors shot 71% with Kanter in the game and 41% with him on the bench.

Your original point was wrong, and what Gobert did/didn't do is completely irrelevant to that.

Are you an idiot?

Did you watch 3 q or were you mindraped by all the 3s that you forgot it? GSW shot 20 of 39 trough 3 Q with Gobert on the floor. Does that mean Gobert is a bad defender? No, it means we couldn't defend anything as a team.

Jesus Christ, kid, this has nothing to do with Gobert. All this has to do with is your claim that the Jazz defense was bad even with Kanter on the bench.

Read the previous paragraph over and over until it sinks. And then continue:

The Warriors shot 30% worse when Kanter was on the bench. Therefore, your claim was wrong.

And again, a reminder: Gobert has nothing to do with this.

Lets look at this like this. Gordon Hayward had a opp %efg of 69.2, Derrick Favors had 66.7, Enes Kanter 69.7. None of this players played in the fourth Q(may be Derrick did) to save their numbers. Are you too dense to understand that Enes didn't play all through 3 quarters and was on the bench sometimes but they still have identical opp %efgs?

And I didn't even say we played bad when kanter was on the bench( we did), I said Favors had some defensive lapses even when Kanter was on the bench.

Well I give up. I don't know how to get this guy to address my argument.

Just where did you get your stat and can you run it for Favors and Hayward as well and try to run it one more time with just through the 3 Q.

The Jazz just refuse to give up on Kanter. They must go home and replay the Nike Hoop Summit game to get their hopes renewed.

At this stage I am glad that they refuse to give up on any of the players. Look at the improvement and progress they have all made! Gobert is exploding, Favors is shinning, Burke is hitting his shots...

Hey guys, look at Gobert's brand new jump. His brand new apg and spg over the last 3 games. If he maintains that...
