Gamethread: Jazz Vs Knicks, "Luck is overrated when you got kanter" 18-03 at 2030

I think he is making it easier and easier for the FO to move on without him. First his bad defense and now stuff like this. I know Larry wouldn't like it, I just hope Greg thinks the same way.

I guess there is more to the story.....

Steve Luhm @sluhm Jefferson and Millsap emerged from training room together. Dressed with backs to the media. Turned around. Millsap asked for questions ... Reporters went to Millsap and asked 4-5 questions. When they turned around, Jefferson was gone.

Maybe I should feel good that Al and Milsap are cooperating, this team is really starting to come together. sigh.

This may have been posted here already, and i know nobody cares what locke has to say anymore. but i really feel like this portrays my problem with the jazz staff.

From David Lockes blog

The only reason those are the guys that need to make the plays is because they are the ones the plays are going to, if we gave those plays to other people, then maybe those plays would be made.

Again, these match ups could have been won... Derrick Favors on Copeland? Enes Kanter on Kurt Thomas? Alec Burks on Raymond Felton?

The Jazz took horrible shots. The offense generated few good looks through out the game. If we were taking good shots and missing, that is one thing. But we weren't getting any good looks.

We had no energy- so that is the prime time for Carroll inject some life into the team.

Agreed. Our execution of the offense now is horrendous. Everything is from way out, very few good looks in close. Ugly.

I stand by my point. Tyrone does not know why we lost, because he is lost. I hope the Jazz are seeing the down side of loyalty and character. It does not equal talent and productivity. My dog is loyal and has good character, but I would not put him in charge of my investment decisions, even though he has been around for 7 years.
In regards to Corbin, the loyalty is all going in one direction. If Corbin could've landed a HC gig in the years leading up, he would've. The Jazz chose Corbin because they had no other choice, and extended and stuck with him because THEY are loyal.

While that's nice, this isn't a church lesson or Saturday morning special, this is a multi-hundred million dollar pro sports franchise competing at the highest level on earth and one of the cultural centerpieces where it is based. Treat it as such.

Went to the game last night. Biggest waste of $100 I've ever spent...The game was so boring that some people behind us left during the 3rd quarter. This stagnant offense is just excruciatingly painful to watch. Fans were yelling for them to move and complainingg about our offense the entire game. Oh, and Jefferson. Well, lets just say Jazzfanz isn't the only place for Jefferson hate...It was just bad. Also, I don't know if this is much, but EVERY SINGLE timeout this game(even in the 4th when we were down 6 with like 2 min to go) the players would come out of the huddle and just sit on the scorer's table(literally) waiting almost minutes for the buzzer to go off out of timeout. All the while the knicks would be hunched over listening to Mike Woodson intently during the full duration of the timeout(even when they were well ahead)...I don't know if I'm seeing way to much into this, but to me, thats a big problem when your damn head coach can't come up with a little 2 min speech or come up with a play to go over real quick to get a guaranteed basket.
I used to think Raja was a douche(and he still might be), but I'm starting to realize why he had an outburst on Ty.

This is rich:

Howard Beck ‏@HowardBeckNYT
Kurt Thomas has an "acute stress reaction surrounding a chronic stress fracture" in his right foot. Out 2-4 weeks, Knicks say.

That sure didn't stop him from kicking some Jazz butt last night.

So much for Luck is overrated.

I blame this loss on dutch for making another bad luck thread and Colton for choosing his over mine.

Colton choosing dutch's thread over mine was like Portland choosing Oden over Durant

In a world where words are carefully crafted to conceal, body language speaks volumes.

I posted some pictures of Ty in the Memphis thread. His body language was terrible. He knows.

Some players have played themselves out of jobs, some coaches have coached their way out too. I am very hopefull for the changes that are coming.

Let's turn Dutch's curse into lemonade: DUTCH FOR GAME THREAD PRESIDENT.

Sending Neg reps to anyone besides Dutch who creates a game thread the rest of the way. We can't be winning these games.
