Why are you pretending that Burks could just kill them off the drive whenever he wanted? Are you watching the game?
 
the Jazz need proper spacing, that what they need. Our driving lanes are clogged enough with Rudy and Fav. Last thing we need is Neto, Burks, and Hood rounding the perimeter with their 'prowess' from three.

Agreed. I can't stand ***** teams that hang their heads. It's an attitude. Get a stop every single defensive possession. The offense will come.

Ya, I saw him kill then off the drive multiple times. Saw him missing threes too.
In fact I think he took at least 3 three point shots in the first half. Is that not enough? How did him taking those threes make the offense look? Are blowing Dallas out thanks to his three point attempts?

and again you dont seem to understand that a Burks that doesnt hit threes is one that harms the entire team offense. It's not all about the scoring of Alec. Why do you think him and Trey have played so well together?


Cuz people know Trey will gun from behind the arc. Spaces things nicely for Alec to work. That's why he aint gonna be starting with Neto.

I do understand that. Burks missing threes is not good. Exactly why he needs to attack. Get the other team in foul trouble. Then our players get free throws. Us taking free throws (the easiest shot in the game) helps the offense.

Burks has tried to drive the ball more than he has taken the open 3. He's scored exactly 2 baskets driving the ball, the rest of the time he hasn't even been able to get a shot off with the paint as clogged as it is.

Those drives will open up more, and opportunities for other players will also open up as well, if the Jazz can force Dallas to stop sagging off of Burks. Burks not taking the wide open shots Dallas is giving him hurts the Jazz.
