Anyway I think this Hill guy will be a decent stop gap until Exum blossoms into the hybrid Steph Curry and MJ he is destined to be.

While I think there's a huge risk he doesn't re-sign (and we'd "lose" the trade in that case), perhaps the winning attitude and what he may be able to teach Dante outweighs having a #12 pick developing on the bench.

I would suspect that Snyder made this call because Jazz probably could have had Teague if they wanted him, probably even last season at the deadline. It appears that they wanted Hill.
