Those two might mean the guy has potential to contribute a big deal, but jersey number 41 gives me the impression of him getting the father effect. I love the Senior Rice as a player, but I'm not a big fan of genetic heirs to former stars.
 
A bit of Jazz History... Glen Rice Sr. was traded to the Jazz on September 30, 2003 for John Amechie, picks were also involved.

Rice was waived and then signed with the Clippers.
