Go GET Hornacek

Team is biggest shock in the NBA and Horny is almost HCOY. Then team makes bad moves and has big injuries, goes on a terrible run but Devin Booker becomes star in making and coach gets fired. I don't get it.

It is absolutely a terrible move on the leadership/ownership of the franchise. There are changes that need to be made there, but the coaching staff was not the problem. Its much higher than that.

Hornacek got a **** deal. Only way I see him back here is if he wanted to be a consultant until next year. He coached a group of ill fitting pieces to a good record and they had some guys with difficult personalities. The GM breaks up the Morris twins after they gave a discount to stay together and he thinks that will work out. If you trade one of those guys you need to move them both.

Do the Jazz even have an associate head coach/lead assistant coach/whatever the **** that position is called?

Obviously I don't know the answer to the above question, but if Hornacek wanted to get back to the bench this season, the Jazz should welcome him with open arms. He deserves to be a head coach, but if he just helps possibly fix some kinks in the offense and marginally improves a guy or two's shooting in the meantime, great, even if it's just for half a season. Hope he lands the job he deserves.

Everything is right you say especially the one I make black. We should take him and we can be champions but we settle for nice role player anyways

What coach or player wants to go to that cluster of a franchise. I'm glad we are not in that position.

Hello no. He is an awful coach. Apparently no one has been paying attention to what he has been doing. His rotations have been the most retarded rotations ever. The dude is clueless.

Be thankful he's not our coach.

You guys don't get it. He's a dumb coach.

Why do you think Dragic demanded a traded and criticized the offense?

Why did Markief Morris throw a towell at him?

Why did the team quit on him?

The players didn't like him. He did the most bizarre rotations I've ever seen. I've followed it pretty closely. He had to go. He is not cutout to be a head coach. He gets too angry at the players. Won't let them find any consistency. Doesn't know how to use them right. Doesn't know who his best players are. He made it a cluster **** there, and deserved the firing.

I hope the suns hire corbin

So he goes from being 2nd in the COY vote for taking a roster everyone thought would compete with Philly for the #1 draft pick to being a clueless coach?

Dragic talked about the reason he wanted out.
Dragic has lost trust in the Suns organization because they have brought in two other point guards, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas, and reduced his playmaking role since he returned to Phoenix during free agency in 2012 to be Steve Nash's heir apparent. "I don't trust them anymore," Dragic said following Wednesday's practice session. "It happens too many times. Two, three times."They give promises, OK. It's hard. But at the same time, I wish them all the best.
Had nothing to do with Hornacek.

Morris is pissed at the organization and has played half-*** all season. As the coach, Horny has had to try to discipline him. And Markief was betrayed by the GM, not Hornacek, He and his brother signed twin contracts (at a discount) to stay together. The GM lied to them.

Yes, I will agree Hornacek has tried a lot of rotations - some of them weird. But nothing has worked, so you try to find ANYTHING that might, Heck, even Quin tried Lyles at the 5 and went to a 3-wing lineup to try to get Utah winning.

Wrong.

Refine your Google search. I know Dragic said something about not liking the offense, and Hornacek also responding. Don't make me find it for you. I'll let you fix your own statement and findings so I don't look like a dick.

So you left out the direct quote from Dragic. He said he was upset about them bringing in Bledsoe and then Thomas. He didn't like his offball, spot-up role. Is that being upset with the offense? Sure. But it's a result of the GM bringing in other PG's and forcing Hornacek to then use Dragic in that role (since neither Thomas nor Bledsoe were suited to play off the ball). I included some of the quotes from an article. Here's the link to the entire post.

Yes, Hornacek had to play him off ball, which he hated. But what else could he do when Phoenix brought in Bledsoe and then traded for Thomas? Dragic was either going to play that role or come off the bench due to the GM's acquisition of two other PG's, neither of whom could play a SG role.

From another article:
Babby said he took personal offense to Dragic's Wednesday comment that he did not trust the organization, characterizing his statements as "unfair and unwarranted." Dragic had been upset that the Suns brought in two more starting-caliber point guards, Eric Bledsoe and Isaiah Thomas, since he returned to the team in 2012 and that he became primarily a wing player because of their additions.
Again, how is that Hornacek's fault? He has to use the players the GM gives him. What else was he supposed to do with Dragic once Bledsoe and then Thomas were on the roster?
