Go GET Teague

Sure, but if they're turning down Hill, they're not taking Burke + mid/late 1st rounder. Burks would have to be involved.

That's assuming that they are dead set on pieces instead of picks. Either way I hope the FO tries. But given DLs amazing late first round ability in the draft (Gobert and Hood anyone?) I am hesitant to trade late first rounders lol.

You're right I am assuming that it wouldn't make sense for Atlanta to trade a top-15 PG for picks and a most likely lifetime backup PG considering the spot they are in. Unless they would think they they could flip the picks for more talent?

Hey I'm all for Burke + pick(s) for Teague. I'm sure the Jazz FO would hop on that in a heartbeat. It's Atlanta's side that doesn't really make sense.

Your silly condescending tone aside, it all depends on what the Hawks want. If it is picks than the Jazz have a chance. If it is current players than not so much.

Since we are not in their FO we don't really know.

I agree we don't know. Just stating my opinion why it wouldn't make sense for them to want picks over better talent.

Nah. I hope the Jazz can pull this trade. It would help our playoff push.

And I hope it pisses Exum off. I don't want his a$$ entitled. Let him come back hungry and fighting to start. I don't care if his feathers get ruffled. The Jazz need a grown man at the point.

It doesn't matter what u think. Fact of the matter is that Exum is behind in development due to injury, which also should be enough to create that hunger. Let's also not forget that the Jazz turnaround wasn't just putting Gobert in the starting lineup, but Exum as well. He fits what the Jazz want to do so well. Hood Hayward and Burks will spend the majority of the time with the ball. Exum will be a ball mover and use his elite speed to get to certain points of the court getting Favors and Gobert lay ups, or lockout opportunities. We saw exactly this in the SL. We are at this moment poised to make a playoff push as it is now. No reason to waste assets on a rental.

If the Jazz org believes Exum will be a stud and like his potential, there's no way they will waste assets and slow Exum's and Neto's progression for Teague, it's going to take core pieces. Simply put, we don't need him or any other pg.

Then you're not alone.

I'll be watching for Exum's development as he participates in the Olympics this summer. Hopefully those reps against international competition don't lead to another injury. It'd be a shame if the Jazz had no backup plan to cover for it.

Don't people here watch the Jazz? Hayward and hood play the pg and run the offense. They combined for 49 pts and 8 assists I think it was. We would be fine as is

Sounds like Oladipo has been offered for Teague in some sort of deal by the magic. Could be more than the Jazz want to offer.
