Go Get Wilson Chandler

Boris has been great for the team though, no way in hell will we, or should we, cut Boris.

Would not describe Boris' play as great... he's been awful... Good locker room guy... If we traded for Chandler Boris would be the salary. I still believe we extend Hill so I'd want to stay under the cap.

Not really.

Our PF play is awful... and who knows if Favs does anything... but yeah let's roll with Diaw/Lyles in the Playoffs... that won't get exposed.

He is also part of our 2 best lineups this year despite his shot not falling. He has been super important this year and trading him or cutting him would be stupid.

Also, I think favors needs to lose some weight to help him stay healthy. We need to stop playing him at backup center.

He should have dropped lbs 2 offseasons ago. And he can drop those lbs and still play backup C for 15 minutes a game +/-

While I definitely think our PF play needs to significantly improve, maybe Favors injury woes the last two seasons will help us sign him on the cheap next offseason, like Steph Curry did with GS.

Do you watch the games? Yeah, Diaw himself sucks individually a lot of games, but he adds a lot to the team.

I watch all the games and I see one cool pass or one back down layup for every 5 bricks... the defense largely ignores him... His defense is ummm not great. The ball constantly finds him when he is on the court. I also like the statement that he sucks individually but adds a lot... Again like in the locker room? Cuz what I'm seeing in the games I watch aint good.

He has one of the worst RPM in the league... I would not cut him, but I wouldn't hesitate to move him in a deal for someone who doesn't suck individually a lot of games. I like players that don't suck... sorry bruh.

Not a bad point.

How is it then that the offense is always better with him on the court? The ball movement is incredible with him in the game and he is a great passer. He adds a lot of steadiness to our team and a dimension we never had without him. It'd be great if he could be a more consistent shooter, but he isn't. That doesnt make him a bad player. And if it wasnt obvious. I wouldn't mind getting a 3/4 combo like Chandler, but I'd want someone better. I dont think Chandler really makes us that much better. Rudy Gay would have been a much better option pre-injury. It's better right now to just develop Lyles, play Diaw, and give minutes to JJ at the 4 when needed. Hopefully while that happens Favors comes back to health at some point and either ups his trade value or re-signs for cheap.

Favors has missed 4+months in the last 2 years with soreness. Not broken bones. Not torn ligaments. He obviously isn't keeping himself healthy. Not sure it's his fault or his body's. He needs to lose weight. Improve his shot. Until then I wouldn't resign him.

Diaw has been important. He's a coach on the floor. I think there's basically zero chance he doesn't finish the year as a jazzman.
