What's new

Go sign Aleksej Pokuševski

He showed some flashes as a rookie but has not panned out at all. Still a minimum contract gamble would not be a horrible idea. The Jazz definitely have worse players on the roster.

Signing him would be a low risk move, bc he won't cost much more than minimum. If they think, he can be developed, go for it.
The monetary cost doesn't matter. If you sign him, the only way to develop him is to play him. The cost of playing Poku any minutes ahead of Hendricks or anyone but Collins (and that would have other type of costs) is quite big.

Which players are worse?
Samanic for certain
He has more potential than yurtseven.
Definitely better than Potter or Juzang.

The biggest problem with Poku is he hasn't gotten better from season to season. He might just be one of those guys from Europe that plays basketball because he was tall. Doesn't love the game and put effort into improving in the offseason. (Pure speculation but my guess)

Other thin is we do see a lot of bigs develop slower. He could be a late bloomer. Doesn't hurt to sign him for a minimum contract redt of the year.
