It's ok to make that omission. At the rate he is going, he will go from being a nobody to a superstar by the end of the season. It's the single most exciting thing about the Jazz since deron Williams. Hayward is nice, but he has been steadily improving, not by leaps and bounds like gobert.One_Brow is suspiciously absent.
Oh, I was wrong about Gobert maybe being average. He's definitely above average as well. Just dismantled a very good Chicago front court.

I seem to remember back in the day that it was Jerry Sloan who recommended for Lindsey to pick Gobert. Sloan pointed him out at the work out and said, "He's a hard worker. Get him."
Not sure where I heard that anecdote, but I definitely remember it.
I'm not sure when Kanter is due back, but if these performances keep up Quin will really have to put a stamp on this team and say he's flat out starting whoever is better regardless of tenure. Don't go all Ty and put Kanter back in the starting line-up because that's what the starting line-up was intended to be.
Would it shock anybody if Kanter is moved before the trade deadline? It wouldn't me. I think he's a decent player but I'm just not sure where he fits on this team now and I'm not sure he'll accept the bench. Gobert needs to start and Favors is still far better than Kanter.Yep. And I don't think that will be an issue. I think this season was very much about letting the young guys earn their stripes and sort out who was the future. Kanter will be a serviceable big for years to come, but my $ is that it's somewhere else. Gobert + Favors is the future here. Gobert's length/athleticism is otherworldly. Can't wait to see this cat in 5 years.
