This guy is going to be a beast. Yes, he is raw, but with his arm length he can effectively be guarding an opponent and the paint at the same time (to avoid defensive 3 seconds). After he learns to keep his feet on the ground until his opponent has left the ground (especially with guards) he is going to dominate on the defensive end.

If we are just going to give the season away, I'd like to see him get a lot more touches on offense. God knows he can't do much worse than the rest of the team has.

He's one of the few pleasures we have right now. He is very raw agreed, but you can see the potential if he develops.

Not only is his defensive prowess stellar, he runs the floor fairly well and positions himself at the right place and at the right time.

He looks scared on offense right now.. Was he able to spend time with Malone this summer or was that just Kanter and Favors?

I don't think scared is the right adjective. He's more hesitant or unsure of himself than anything...but only time and experience will correct those feelings. I have complete faith in him as of right now.

Doubt it. Remember, he had surgery to remove an ingrown toenail. What I like best about Gobert is he's getting PT. This isn't like Kanter his first couple of years when Enes barely saw court time. Agree with V1, Offensively, he's unsure of himself. For a rookie big, especially one picked in the 20's, I think he's already >>>>>> expectations. I'm not as down on this team as some. I'm happy for the losses as I actually thought we'd be in the mix for a pick in the 6-8 range. I just hope the start continues to be bad due to the brutal schedule. And Lindsey needs to tell the team doctor to keep Burke out until he's absolutely, without doubt, 100%.

Yeah, Gobert needs his mentoring more than almost anything else, sans court time.

Gobert plays with the most fire of anyone on the team. That's kind of bizarre, given his incredible tools.
