Try tukish raki. The best. You have to mix it with water 50%/50% and eat appetizers with it, especially white cheese and melon. I seldom drink other beverages.
They've shown it doesn't matter what type of alcoholic beverage you drink, if you drink in moderation (I might go so far as to call it extreme moderation, if that's not a contradiction in terms) there are many health benefits. Once you begin to over consume those health benefits vanish.
Beer is made out of the same stuff bread is made out of. If it is not filtered and pasteurized it has the same nutritional benefits as bread.
Vodka is the most neutral liquor. It is pretty much ethyl alcohol and water. There's nothing particularly healthy about that.
HeavenHarris, the only alcohol intended for human consumption is ethyl alcohol. Every alcoholic beverage contains the exact same "alcohol" along with whatever else is in that particular type of beverage. While the taste is very different between various liquors they are all very much the same as far as what they contain in any nutritional or healthful sense.
