What's new

Good news!!

There is so much going on in the OP, I don't even know where to begin...

Mostly though, I want to know when you decided that you didn't need your balls and cashed them in for two effing lap dogs? Secondly, the only thing I can say about your sons jump-roping skillz and knife handling skillz is...

One of the funniest things I have seen on JF in a long time
Thanks trout.

Lay off the lap dog dissing though..... all dogs are good dogs....... except pitt bulls. Once they hit thier teenage years they always go and crop thier own ears and we all know what that leads to

Belatrix. She is scared in these photos because she had no clue what we were doing and she is really still a puppy.

The pics we took so the dog relocation company knew the dogs would fit in the kennel. Freaked Belatrix out.

My dogs crap bigger than those rats.

Meh. I traded in my balls 23 years ago when I got married. Of course they fathered 4 kids first, so I guess I really traded them in 13 years ago when a vasectomy was my christmas present. To myself. A lap dog isn't that big a stretch.

I flew my dog from Texas to NY - he was kind of on the old side (9). Only about 4-5 hours but I was told that about 15-20% of dogs that fly die on their way to the destination. Mostly from heart attacks. I had to wonder if you got your money back if the dog died - you didn't

No, you are not too lazy for a dog, you just need to love the dog more than whatever it is that is the higher priority in your life.

It might take a decision to modify your priorities. Don't get a dog if you have no joy in the time and expense allocations. If's a joy to you, you won't hesitate to do it.

I get home from work and the last thing I want to do after taking care of the kids is to take a dog on a long walk in hopes he'll go to the bathroom within a reasonable amount of time. If I lived on a farm where I could let him out to run and play on his own terms that would be different. But I'm a city slicker and dogs have to be on leashes, let out multiple times a day etc .... So I've had dogs and really enjoyed them but always felt like I wasn't giving them the life they deserve.

We had a Golden Retriever that was a great dog, but I didn't have time to treat her right so I found her a home with a family that had adopted 5 autistic boys between 21 and 10 .... great home I'm sure shes getting obscene amounts of love over there.

Yeah we are now going to find out how the other half live. We have always had a house with a fenced yard for the dogs to play in. Now we are going to live in an apartment. Have to do the whole take the dogs out for exercise and bathroom stuff.

Well we found out today our dogs are well house broken. I came home from work and they were both standing at the door. I thought they were just happy to see me, cuz like, who isn't? Right? But after I came in they just both stared at the door. So I got their leashes, took them both out, and they both immediately did their business on the lawn outside. Good dogs!

Yay, we found an apartment on the ground level with a small garden/yard connected and fenced. A place for the dogs to go outside every now and then.

what u doin in germany bro?

Moved here for work. Pretty cool gig. I am in distribution and we are building a new distribution center from scratch in Germany, and the first for our company built in Germany. Will be here at least a year, maybe longer. Will have to see how it goes. But so far the language is kicking my ***. Lots of new words to learn for business when the last time I was here it was 25 years ago on my mission.

I've always thought living in Europe would suck balls, unless you were rich obviously. I always watch that House Hunters International show and all the houses over there look like they suck balls. Old, concrete, boring, cold /.... ugh. I could be wrong though. What are your thoughts?
