What is the nicest thing someone has ever done for you?

^^ I would've bet 10 million dollars you were a chick.
Through the years, I've had a lot of people do nice things, but one thing that happened recently really stuck with me. My wife had a serious medical issue earlier this year and I spent a lot of time by her side in the hospital. One of the posters on this board offered to bring me dinner/ice cream/whatever and was quite insistent on it. I declined the offer because we weren't hurting for things to eat, but I appreciated the thought a lot. Thanks again, Trout.
^^I would've bet 10 million dollars you act tough to hide the fact that you are very insecure and need constant validation one way or another.
You also think babe and milsapa are the same person, and that they are both Hopper.
I wish you well, and hope you win your election, but I might be secretly glad I don't live in Taylorsville.
Now that may be one of the nicest things to happen to me. Not being associated in any way with Trout means never having to say I'm sorry for the friends I have. Thanks, Trout, you just brought tears to my eyes.I love you all.

And republicans.)
When my child was born two months ago, he had to be life flighted to Primary's. I called my buddy to inform him on what was going on. My child wasn't suppose to make it through the night. I got to Primary's at about 11pm and he was at the entrance waiting for me. My wife couldn't be there because she had a c-section and my family was watching my other child. He knew I would be alone and didn't want that to happen. He stayed up with me in the hospital and kept me company. He stayed until 6am and went and worked a 12 hour shift that day without any amount of sleep. I'll never forget that night.
When I was much younger, I used to hop trains and ride them all over the country. One time when when I was ridin on the city of New Orleans, I fell off and had both my legs severed. Trout, who I had never met before, dragged me back to his house and nurtured me back to health. Not only did he empty my bed pans and wipe by backside for several weeks, but he also ended up cutting off one of his own legs and donated it to me. Thanks for the leg and everything else, Trout. I don't even care that the foot for some reason is unusually small. You truly are an angel walking the earth.
