I think the skill needed for something like this is discipline more than brains. Guys who could do calculus may or may not be able to follow the plan as tendencies like the one pointed out in the article - "stay in your zone" are sometime difficult to overcome.

It's also a nice luxury to know that we have players that are smart and capable enough on the defensive end to run a scheme like this. Fesenko challenged a ton of shots and then they started chucking 3's when they couldn't go inside. AK on the one play where he rotated from corner to corner was particularly impressive. AK is still a very underrated player, and having guys like Williams and Bell out there to back him up on the wing has been tremendous the last couple of games. I really enjoyed watching AK take it to LeBron, too, something that was hardly mentioned around these parts after the Miami win.
