It is with immense pleasure that I present to you our favorite pigeon newly soiled with a lily white piece of poop!

Here's hoping there are soon many more to follow.

What's the origin of this?

Even if that's what happens, getting to the playoffs is way more valuable than getting a pick two or three spots earlier.

This may very well be true with this Jazz team, but the problem I have with this statement, is that fans said the same thing during the lockout year, which was horribly, horribly wrong. This Jazz team is on the way up, and has a much higher ceiling than the one built around the wheezy. Personally, as a rabid defender of the tank over the last few years, I feel Rudy Gobert killed the tank of this rebuild as of last year. Just the same, I'm not sure DL agrees, as his activity this year would suggest otherwise.

I really do hope Utah makes the playoffs this year, but I'm just not as willing to dismiss the value of a higher draft position to 4 losses against the dubs or spurs, or as I like to call it, the 4 more asskickings.

Whats it been 4 years? The Spurs are still in Hayward's head. He might never recover from being swept out of the playoffs In 2011-12. That is my primary concern with getting swept out, what does it do to the players.

First, I don't think the Spurs are in Hayward's head because of a playoff loss. They are winning because they are a really good team. They are beating everybody. Second, if we have players who don't want to compete against the best we should get rid of them. This is not a daycare.

Besides, that's not how it works. How it works is, once a team maneuvers (tanks) for a better draft pick, that team forever has a losing mentality. I learned this the year Golden State tanked, and I shall never forget.

I wonder who you learned that from.

I think I learned it from a guy named James, who is apparently unaware that the GS Warriors are now the best team on the planet.
