GT: Mavericks at Jazz, THE BIG GAME

Ive been saying it for the last two years. Hayward is not a #1 player on a top team.
Favors is too soft. As much as I love these guys they just didnt get it done this year.

I just hope with Exum back + a first round lotto pick we improve next year.
Now the pressure is on. We must make the playoffs next season or someone is gone.

You are right. I think that Favors missing 20 games for back spasms it seems a bit too much.

Fouling with four seconds left. Pretty much sealed out fate.
Yep so dumb. I wanted them to foul quick but was ok with and understood just playing defense and getting a stop.
Fouling with 4 seconds left on the shot clock was worst case scenario

Too much bitching is made of what Hayward isn't. I prefer to praise him for what he is. Which is a damn good player that was the largest contributor in leading us to a 40 win season despite Exum missing all year, Burks missing 3 and a half months, and Favors and Gobert each missing a month.
Fair post. So should we pay him 30 million per year?

I don't buy that. Hayward has been a great offensive player on a team that runs the slowest paced offense and never gets out in transition. Our offense developed into this middle of the road shooting team that relies way too heavily on perimeter shooting to save itself from late clock possessions. Vast changes need to be made to our team's philosophy regarding how we play with pace.
Great offensive player? That's stretching it.

Which teams that could win the lotto would be willing to swap picks for one of our players? Could we put together a package for Ben Simmons or Brandon Ingram?

Hard to root against success when we got this close. I kind of agree, but come Wednesday at 6pm I'll be rooting for the Kings pretty hard.
This.
I kind of agree with cy about not making the playoffs but come Wednesday night my tune will change
