Joe Ingles has been insane from 3 this year. He should be in the 3 point contest.

Sure he'd only get halfway through the 3rd rack, but he'd make almost every damn one of them.
 
I wonder who will be healthy come Thursday....

The team ran out of gas in the 4th but at least we held on.
Rudy's dunk was worth it.
 
Can't wait for the Warriors game. One of the rare opportunities for our guys to step up and get some leaguewide recognition.

Because he hungon the rim. Sour grapes but they have somewhat of a point. you're not supposed to pull up or hang on the rim except to protect yourself. Refs have been a little more leniant but eventually someone is gonna T him up.

Agreed.

Only thing I think might be relevant is that when you dunk reverse it's harder to balance or something, so pulling up might be natural before coming down? Just feels like it'd be scarier coming down from a reverse dunk than a normal dunk.

Hell if I know though, I can't dunk.
 
When the whistle blew I thought it was to give Gobert a T for that. They are right but only ever said anything because Gobert just got done murdering another Suns player.

I'm not a big referee critic since so many calls could go both ways and are complicated and subjective.

But that was a terrible missed call because it was completely impossible to miss.

Hopefully Gobert learns that this should have been a T through the 2 minute report and he does not repeat when it costs us a game.

I took it as good natured ribbing. After all, Stockton was a master at creating fouls through a potpourri of tricks. I remember him destroying Jason Williams mentally by trapping his arm, exaggerating hits, flopping, etc. Completely took the kid out of some games. I bet Stockton would take this as a complement as it helped the team win.

They seemed pretty lighthearted about it the jab. And they seemed to acknowledge that it was a good non-call and a flop on the Suns, which was good non-homerism. I thought they did a pretty good job at covering the Jazz fairly and giving credit where due.

Nah, you are wrong. Gobert dunked blindly and you can see Bender foul him on the play. How does Gobert know if he is still underneath him or not? Just as wrong as you were bout about Hayward this year.

I am THRILLED to have mis-forecast Hayward, he's All-Star bound if he keeps up this pace. And as a reminder, I did not predict he would be worse, but rather that he would become an uber-facilitator and playmaker, and therefore his usage/spg would be slightly down, his efficiency would go up and therefore his ppg would not go up. Why? Because he had more and better shooters/ scorers to distribute to. I still think he can approach LBJ type assist numbers (career 7 apg) once the Jazz are fully healthy. I think the Jazz would be a better team with Gordon at 19 ppg and 7 apg than with him at 22 ppg and 4 apg.

See how easy it is to admit a mistake?

Now, you predicted Exum would get 3 free throws per game, which would have been awesome, but turned out to be pretty boneheaded given where he is in his early development. But you missed -- by a lot -- specifically by a factor of 2.5. Admit a mistake, give it a try, we will still love you.
 
I've seen Gobert hang on/pull up on the rim many times. I think he rightfully gets a pass because he usually dunks in traffic.

LOL he dunked over Robinson Monday night and then turned around and popped a flex on him.

For one reason or another, some hard *** ref is gonna T him up eventually.

I can live with it.
