GT: Your Utah Jazz vs. Brooklyn Bums, 1/22/16 7:30 EST/5:30 MST

I'm traveling for business and got courtside seats in Brooklyn. Prices weren't too bad. A few observations from the game:

- Hayward is becoming very respected in the league. He'd be an all star in the Eastern Conf this year voted in by coaches, I think.
- Raul Neto is a noticeably better PG than Trey Burke. Burke isn't really a pure PG, but more of a shooter/spacer PG like a Mario Chalmers.
- Gobert took Lopez out of the game. Lopez couldn't get by Gobert.
- Hood has borderline All Star potential.

UB give us some insider info, that arena is dead!

It was hella dead, but it filled up in the 2nd quarter. For a while I was getting razzed, but when the Jazz started to pull away, they actually started talking about how good the Jazz looked. And lots of compliments for Hayward. Rudy just friggin shut it down, then the arena started booing. Beautiful.

Gobert's best attribute hands down is that losing kills him, he's easily the most competitive player on the team...love it
Agreed

Withey continues to impress me.
Good defender, good rebounder, doesn't make many noticeable mistakes, really good hands, really good finisher on tough layups.

He is surprisingly coordinated

Tonight, Lyles took a number of shots "on the move" which he missed. However, he looks smooth doing so and with work, all those will be money shots for him. He's taken step one hitting spot up threes so well, and the "pump fake, one dribble" type shots are next step. He's gonna be good. I'm surprised by his rebounding. He's not great, but it is now light years better than first of the year.
