Have a bad feeling he will be gone next year via a trade.

Got a feeling the organization believes in Ty and Ty does not believe in Hayward.

It is a business after all.

Thanks Gtime...what could have been if you only had a coach....

If ANY of the core 4 is gone in favor of Corbin, I will not be a Jazz fan until Corbin is gone. Hayward is the best thing to happen to this franchise since D Will. They are not trading him.

The thought of Hayward getting traded this year literally makes me sick. I can never not be a fan of the Jazz, but it makes it harder to be a fan if they make a boneheaded decision like this

I wish the best possible situation for Hayward on our team. If he is on another team, screw him. He is just as bad as Kobe then. Keep Hayward, fire Corbin the Frog and his pencil line mustache.

So, moving Hayward to the starting position and having him initiate the offence with Mo playing the off guard multiple times a game is Corbin not believing in him? I need to re-take english class, I could have sword that it meant something else.

Corbin, you mean? He's the one that decided to give Hayward fewer minutes this season.

For Hayward, the minutes were not that different. I think he ended up like 1.5 or 2 minutes less per game for the season, but the big thing is who he has to play with. If you look at Hayward playing with Favors, Burks or Kanter, he is the man. If you look at him playing with Al and Mo, he is pretty much useless and intimidated. Play him with the right people, and he is probably better than Paul George. If you play him with two ball hogs, then he sucks. If I were him, i would be more concerned about that than if I played marginally less minutes. If I am Hayward, and they re sign Big Al or Mo, I would ask for a trade.

I think it was Mo not believing in him. To me, it looked like Corbin didn't really have control over Mo this season. It was especially clear when Mo would jack up threes early in the shot clock, and Corbin would ask him kindly to take his time. If Burks did that, he would be out the next play.

Every time Mo would give the ball to Hayward to initiate the offense, he would just sit there on the weak side waiting for Hayward to pass the ball to him, and not run any plays.

Hayward had a lot of great games after being inserted in the starting lineup. It's a mental thing with him IMO. He just has to be more aggressive.

2011-12 - 2015 minutes
2012-13 - 2104 minutes

2011-12.... 60 something games long
2012-13..... 82 games long

Remember that thing called the lockout?

Why would this be a horrible move? What exactly has Hayward done that makes him almost untouchable? His big game performances? His ability to dribble in the lane and have the ball stolen? His ability to get to the basket and then jump in the air and pass it to someone outside?

I like Hayward but if trading him nets the team some good assets, see you Gordon. For all those hoping for a tank, what would you think if the Jazz were offered the 5th pick in the draft and a chance at Trey Burke (or someone else) for Hayward? I think the Jazz think long and hard about it. Then again, according to Jazz Nation, Hayward was the MVP of the team.
