Who would you rather have

2010 - Favors and Hayward
2011 - Kanter and Burks
2013 - Trey and Gobert
2014 - Exum and Hood

Also,

Which two draft classes would you take?

Which starting 5 would be the best?

Which 2 players would have made the best draft class?

Give me Exum and Hood, I like my chances.

2nd is Kanter and Burks, by a slim margin over Derrick and Hayward.

The best starting 5 is;

Exum - Burks - Hood - Kanter - Favors

If i had to take 2 players from that list, it'd be Exum and Favors.

I'm ALL-IN on Exum and Hood.

I'd take Hayward and Favors as my #2. But, srs, I hope Burks and Kanter make me change my mind next year. That'd be a good year.

My best pair -- and I'm basing this mostly on potential -- is Exum and Favors.

Gotta throw a shout out to Rudy, though. I really can't wait to see him get serious minutes. I'm probably cheering for him harder than I am for anyone else (Dante a close second).

2013. Gobert is a legit 7'1" bigman with good defense and upside and Trey Burke is a pointgaurd with good Assist/TO ratio (Top 10 in the NBA in fact. Number 8 as a rookie). Point Guards who can pass and big man who can defend is a good foundation.

Favors and Hayward

2nd I would take Kanter and Burks.

The best value for when they were picked is definitely Hood and Gobert. Maybe it's all those years of late first round draft experience(DL and the Jazz) cuz we've nailed the last 2 years.

I want to get on the Exum bandwagon I really do but I am worried tbh. He is walking the line between boom and bust. For all the hope I have when I watch him he just seems like a bust. It hurts.

Too early for hood and exum. We have yet to rip our hair off watching hood defend like James harden and exum shoot airballs. They will all have great moments, but until they become starters, I'm gonna go with Kanter/Burks and Favors/Hayward as co-champs.

What I like about Hood & Exum is right off the bat they have defined positions as starters in the NBA.

Favors was a PF with no offensive game, Hayward was always going to be too slow guarding SG and not tough enough guarding SF. Kanter was never going to be solid defensively at the pivotal position of C. Burks was a SG who couldn't quite shoot.

Dude

Exum is a 2 that could possibly(hoping) excel at the 1. Hood is a 3 that can play minutes at the 2.

Also Burks is a better shooter than Exum.

SRS you need to get better at this

I take that back.(except the hoping part)

Exum is a 1 that can play the 2. His skill set is that of a 1.

He's a 1 that can play the 2. You got that right the SECOND time.

Look the 1-5 positions have more today in the NBA with what your primary role on D is than on offense.

Tbpfhwy he is a playmaker that can guard 1s and 2s. He could play next to Hayward and guard the 1. He could play with Burks and on most nights guard the 2. He could play next to Burke and guard the 2.

On offense he would share play making duties in all of those situations. Especially Burke and Hayward.

Contrast that to Burke that is a definitive 1. A playmaker that guards the little guy.

In short. Exum does not "have a defined position as starter off the bat".

Would you say Exum is a tweener or would you say he can play 2 positions?

Exactly.

Exactly.

Would you say Burks is a tweener or would you say he needs to improve his shooting % a bit?

Exactly.

Srs Burks has a more traditionally definable position than Exum.

2010 : #3 Paul George #9 Gordon Hayward
2011 : #3 Jonas Valaniunas #12 Kawhi Leonard
2013: #14 Giannis Antetokounmpo #21Gorgui Dieng
2014: Happy so far ;)

Burks was a SG who couldn't quite shoot.

Exum does not have a defined position (sg/pg)

Burks definately does have a defined position as a shooting guard...... who can shoot btw

All i know is that i would not choose gobert and trey.

The other 3 drafts are very close
