HA! Kanter being shopped for cap space (for Horford)

"Enes Kanter and Kyle Singler have been shopped to teams with cap space."

The Jazz have cap space. Do you think they would take Tibor in exchange?

I don't trust that report tbh. It would take more than moving Kanter (and Singler) for the Thunder to have the cap room to outbid other teams for Horford. And Kanter can do many of the same things as Horford for cheaper than Horford would probably cost. Plus he's younger. And they picked up Sabonis on draft night.

Hell yes, let's take him for a few unprotected firsts. If KD bounces those could be really valuable in a few years.

Wait, the Enes Kanter that's such a liability defensively that they can only play him in the low 20's of minutes a game is about as good as Al Horford?

Alright.

Alright.

I said he can do many of the same things. IE rebound and score. I didn't say he was as good as Horford.

Theeennn...

Alright. I don't actually care how flawed your logic is.

It's literally 15 and 7 for Horford compared to 13 and 8 for Kanter. And Horford plays 11 more mpg. Horford is the better player because he can defend. I don't see how anything I said was flawed logic. But whatevs. My main point was that them being able to sign Horford is unlikely.

It's too bad they can't find a big who plays good defense and hit the long ball to free up spacing underneath. Someone like that guy in Orlando. . .

His shooting sucked last season though. Kept missing open shots, shying away from inside presence and stepping out to try and make long jumpers.

And remember kids, if you ever use Jazzfanz App, use it safe.

Doesnt he have a trade kicker and a 1yr no-trade clause (i.e. He could refuse a trade?). Would be pretty ironic if they brought him in to make the team better in order to try to keep Durant and it may be his salary which keeps them from acquiring another FA, which could motivate KD to leave.

Yeah he does. He can veto any trade until July 12th. Another reason why this rumor doesn't add up.

Nets have cap space. I also think Sacramento would be a great team for Kanter. Him and Boogie could be besties.
