You should really listen to some opposing PbP guys, then you will realize how good we got it.

See this is like saying their cancer is worse than our cancer. We don't want cancer at all, not just a lesser form of it. I for one have not been a fan of Boler since he was in Utah before, and his lack of basketball knowledge is simply painful to listen to. Adding Harp has helped, but he has got to listen to some "game tape" and then some play by play guys that know the terminology. "Banging it down" is just the latest in what he gets wrong, and seems to be sticking worse than other things. "Skip pass" is simply attrocious lack of fundamental knowledge of the game. He constantly mixes up players and plays as well.

I have reached a point where I just block him out for the most part. I used to put on the Hot Rod radio audio and mute the tv. It is a lot like CJ, Boler has potential, and flashes of greatness, but he has had a few years to improve and it just doesn't get any better. And I don't think it will either. Hopefully he moves on at some point or this is what we will have for the next 20 years. Ugh.

I didn't see this thread until swirled off-topic, but I have to chime in anytime there is Bolerhack hatred. The guy is a total idiot. Imagine Kevin Harlan on his worst day. Then divide that by 5. Then take the remainder. There you go, now you have Boler.

I don't hate Bolerjack, I just don't like some of the things he says and how he says them. He and Harpring say stuff that makes me laugh out loud at least 2 times a game. I'm sure there are worse announcers out there, but I really miss the days of Hot Rod. That guy could call a game.

Just realized that Matt (the rookie) is learning everything from Bolerjack and they are really starting to sound exactly the same. Just not sure how much gruffy excitement I can handle in one game. Gruffy or screechy....pick your poison.

DWill hammered down a 3 on Ellis against GS..... yes, it has begun to annoy me.

I want to see DWill hammer down a steal, or hammer down an alley oop pass to Evans.
Maybe someone will hammer down the time out signal to get a time out.
Maybe AJ will hammer down the jump ball.
How about Steve Brown hammering down an interview?
