Then we need to look for reasons why some muslims can be perfect citizens and integrate successfully into western cultures and why some end up like Michael Adebolajo, Tsarnaevs, or Sweden rioters. I already posted in other thread that maybe it is time to rewrite Quran so it would be less violent? I have muslims friends on my soccer team who are great people and we have no problems playing together or having beer after game and talking about any topics. What made them different from the ones who end up committing terror acts?
Yup, I would agree with you. The approach you mention is a sociological approach, and to me it is the most important of approaches to try and understand, and fix an underlying issue. Personally, all I have is guesses-- without great substantiation. Hopefully attacks committed by Muslim terrorists continue to be condemned by many Muslims (as they have been), and they grow to become non-existent, as Muslims begin to establish multiple generations in their western homelands. We need to find out why these kids are resorting to not identifying with their western nations, and why they identify more with whatever terrorist faction they choose to join.
EDIT: Re-writing the Quran isn't the solution. It is the leaders of countries creating interpretations from it, to most suit their over-controlling regimes that are causing many of the problems
