What was his alternate account?

I haven't said anything (didn't want to rat) but I have thought he is also homeytennis. Because homeytennis is a frequent poster on the Montana State message board and there are only like 10 posters there ..

Everyone does kid around with each other, but when insults cross the line from good-natured jabbing to malicious attacking, it won't be tolerated.

If the subject of a "joke" doesn't find it funny, it's not good-natured ribbing.

I do not entirely agree with that. I recently made a joke to a real life friend about the town she lives in. I was just having some good natured fun. Well some others got offended by it. That did not change my intention from being good natured fun. Now granted I did not push the joke after that but my joke was still "good-natured ribbing".

If a poster makes a joke and they have a history of good natured ribbing and not malicious attacking I think they deserve the beenfit of the doubt.

Not talking about the Hantlers case just generally stating.

The joking at Katie's expense has crossed the line, in my opinion, with unwarranted personal shots. Attack her posts (or lack of posts when the 49ers lose) if you want but leave the transgender "jokes" out of it.

Obviously, if a comment is intended in a good natured way, that is different. But attacking a poster in a way that has already been established as offensive leaves little room to claim good intentions.

I felt like I expressed myself in a way that everyone would understand what I was trying to convey. I'll be more careful next time.
