Happy New Year's Eve!!!

The end of my year has been epicly ****ty, which has been pretty par for the course for the whole year. Got a call this afternoon and looks like warranty isn't going cover the new engine in my wife's car, but our only car at the moment. Started the process for chapter 13 bankruptcy today.

I'm looking forward to a better 2014. Starting a new much better paying job on the 6th. I'm in better shape than I've been in in 10 years. I feel better despite the set backs than I've felt since my mother told me she had terminal cancer when I called her from work and walked out and destroyed my career.

Let's get this bitch started already.
 
My NYE started out pretty damn ****ty, then turned BAWSE.

Dunno bout you ********, but ima rock 2014.

Pretty typical New Years Eve for me in that I spent a lot of time throwing up.

Kind of atypical in that the throwing up came at 9 PM and it was from just old fashioned sickness instead of drinking.

Fell asleep at like 10. Did I miss anything?

My three year old daughter was sick all evening. She puked around 8:30. Luckily she got it in a bowl. Then my two year old son woke up at 11:30 after vomiting all over his bed. And that stuff was some of the worst smelling vomit I've ever encountered. I emptied an entire thing of febreeze in there and still didn't get rid of the smell entirely.
Apparently my kids are lightweight drinkers.
 
The worst thing about NYE is that I'm going to wake up the next day at the same time I always do regardless.

I was up at the hot pots last night, and I think I saw a Demon or something. Either that, or Fireworks are a lot crazier than I know and don't make any noise. It looked like a plane exploded in the sky. Then it just hovered for about 2 minutes a couple hundred yards away glowing bright red, all the sudden it shot off into the sky, it looked like a star at that point, hung up there for awhile, and comes back down and is glowing grey. It was super weird.

Of course I know the locations, it was just a weird sentence. Do they have a good NYE's fireworks show or are you talking 4th of July? Because part of the appeal of sitting in a boat in Sydney at NYEs is that it's probably 70 degrees there at night this time of year.
