I disagree that Harpring sucks as an announcer. He is far more knowledgeable than Bolerjack and Boone--not that they set the bar very high
I guess if you compare him to them...in the kingdom of blind even one-eyed is a king

I respect Harpring - he is a smart dude...while other players where spending their daily meal money he saved good chunk of it. He as well made quite a bit of money by investing smart. Plus he was the strongest Jazz player while he played... I read he was bench pressing and squating heavier weights then Malone.
To bad as game announcer Matt sucks...
As far as this feud goes I agree with Matt. Deron should shut up.
. . . Except that Deron's "pro-player" stance was really "pro-agent" and possibly "pro-superstar", given that they gained back a fraction of a percentage point at most (making somewhere between 50% and 51% more plausible, vs. 50-50 that was available for a long time) and that many of the "system issues" that favor player movement, allowing superstars and agents to get richer by abandoning small markets in favor of in bigger markets (and bigger sponsorships).Deron is right Harping was pro-owner but like most anything people's opinions usually tend to lean towards their own self-interest. DW is pro-player because he is an active player.
I agree that they probably still are on good terms, but DW's stance was irrationally too pro-player (and dragging down the NBA-dependent employees, businesses, and fans with it), whereas Harp's stance was more "fair" and pro-fan IMHO.I certainly don't think this is a feud as some people are saying. It is simply two people who have a different viewpoint on the issue. Speculating that Harp and DW do not like each other is purely speculation. I think people are trying to make something out of nothing here.
Did he? If sticking to the excerpt then, no, he didn't.

The point is to create a system where every team has a fair shot.
