Harris trades....

If The Jazz trade a player for yet another TPE it will be a publicity nightmare. Especially if the Okur TPE goes unused - which at this point looks like a distinct possibility.
 
This all depends on whether or not we get the GSW pick. If we don't, I think KOC would be happy to keep Harris on for 1 more year.

You can't combine players with a TPE to match salaries. Since Morris wouldn't be necessary to match the salaries then it works. The scenario that's been discussed before that is not allowed is if, for example, the Jazz wanted to combine a player with the Memo TPE to create a higher net salary in order to get a player whose salary is larger than the Memo TPE.

The only stipulation in the above scenario that matters is that it would have to be after July 1st.
 
I hadn't realized that Harris' salary dropped to an appropriate level. That's cool.

I think the TPE will be used when the Dwight saga picks back up.

I think it's more likely that Harris gets dealt to a team at the deadline. I'm just bored at the moment... waiting for the Grizz-Clips game to start.

(but I'll say this now: I'd sell on Harris at slightly below market value right now rather than get nothing for him later. I don't think he is in KOC's long-term vision. If we could turn him into a Royce White or DMiller plus a future pick, then that'd be cool).
