I'm honestly wondering if Corbin was told to tank. Earlier before the season began DL said that they told Corbin how this year was going to be and that Corbin said He didn't like it, but it had to happen.

Some of his rotations as well have baffled my mind. Biedrins the first off the bench against portland? Jefferson still a starter even though he really isn't that great.

What do you guys think?

Well, Jefferson as a starter is the logical choice, because Marvin was injured. And then when Marvin came back, he was used at the four. And Hayward needs to be a shooting guard, so we can't have burks start.

But yeah, at the very least Dennis has probably told Corbin that wins don't matter this year, and figuring out the whole thing with the young guys is most important. That is the baffling part about Corbin though, I mean why would he ever want to play mike Harris and biedrins?

Jefferson has started every game though. I doubt many other teams would have him playing the minutes that he's getting. I'd rather see the young core guys playing together. That will help their chemistry and they are at least in the picture for the long run. Kind of like Portland last year, I'm saying we'll be as good, but it would be interesting to see who many times their starting line up changed.

But who would you start in Jeffersons place? We don't have a young small forward. Unless you count Harris I guess.

Hayward is a SF who is better at playing shooting guard. Might as well see what the core 5 can do together though, they've only played 9 minutes together or so.

Hayward is a young small forward on most teams most of the time

Playing Biedrins over Gobert is a very suspicious move. Both are equally inept scorers but Gobert causes massive disruption at least on the defensive side. One will be a free agent, the other is 21 and under cheap contract for the next 4 years. I could see DL giving Corbin some encrypted messages such as "try and build up some trade value in Biedrins before the deadline".

Keeping Corbin as our head coach is a tactical decision. "Winning" and "Corbin is the head coach of the Jazz" are perpendicular. I call a coaching change for the last 20 games of the season as a very intelligent move for DL.

Also, did you know that Dennis Lindsey worked for the Muppets? How does that feel Ty 'Kermit the Frog voiced' Corbin?

All true Jazz fanz want the Jazz to lose this season. I was hoping for a miracle the other night against the Kings and we got one.

It makes sense that nobody would want to come out and say we are trying to lose.

How would it help Corbin, though? You think he has a secret deal worked out in exchange for tanking?

Everyone likes to rag on Biedrens but after watching Kanter and Gobert play D, his rotations look really, really good. Now if he could only score-- even a little.

He needs to stop taking his scoring cues from UGLI and Dala.

Not true at all. Unless you are operating on the theory that all "true Jazz fans" see things the way you do. In that case you need to remove the wonderbra from your eyes.

I have a hard time buying into the idea that Corbin has done anything to intentionally lose.

Think that i have made it clear enough what i think about the Corbin situation. But i must agree that Corbin is not intentionally losing, he has more integrity than that i would wager. while being pretty sure that the previous sentence makes Corbin

look even more suspect. Must be very difficult for the pro-Corbin faction to explain away his actions. I just don't believe his actions are motivated by trying to lose games. Just because i have a low opinion of Ty as our Coach does not mean i have a low

opinion of Ty as a man.
