Have "The Core Five" Turned A Corner?

Hmmm, I'm thinking that This stretch 4 strategy is correlated to a financial thing as well. How Many stretch 4s are paid what 17/9 post guys are paid? That is if Kanter and Favors are 17/9 guys, and they play well together, We've got something... except the ability to pay them the going rate? Matt Bonner is a one dimensional player . Does he get paid accordingly ? He gets $4M Boris Diaw is 4.7

I don't doubt that. But so will other PG's and new PG's will enter the league, some as very high picks, replacing the old guys like Nash, Parker, etc. My point is Burke has good skills, but he's just not elite at any level. He has average speed, average or slightly below height, and is not a very good shooter (< 40% FG's).

I'm not down on Burke, he's just not a guy who will ever be a dominant PG. He'll be a supporting player. But there's nothing wrong with that. Improve his efficiency and average 13-14 pts with 7 assists: that may be all Utah needs if Lindsey can bring in some upgrades around him.

SA spurs game continued to SOLIDIFY Burke as a clutch player . This aspect was part of his attraction coming out of college . That skill is rare and is inate. His drive will enable him to be a good shooter. I think Burke will be a stud. He will be multiple time all star and is the only 'untouchable' player on Jazz. (within reason) I agree with Billy S. on this one.

The next few games all have matchups where Kanter should start, but who knows if Corbin will bench Marvin.

I know.
Spoiler alert: the answer is that he wont

How did i know?

Detroit starts drummond monroe and josh smith (2 centers and a power forward)
So we start a power forward and two small forwards

Perfect game to start kanter.
