Completely on point.
Firstly, I'm still amazed that those of age and part of a generation that has grown up during the time of social media and networking, still have a tough time connecting the dots in regards to cause and effect when it comes to online profiles. There's a saying that goes, "Everyone is on the internet." For the most part it's completely accurate. EVERYONE is on the internet. Normal folks, sports fans, politicians, police officers, killers, pedophiles, rapists, etc. Since this is the case, you must tread lightly on the internets for doing the opposite can sometimes lead to these types of social onslaughts. It happens. This dumb *** dude is learning this the hardway.
As far as the restaurant goes, GF stated it perfectly. I've re-purposed a saying to fit these types of scenarios: The greatest trick the troll ever played was convincving people that they had to react.
This couldn't be truer.
FB warzone? Please. Hyperbole at it's highest. If you're proprietorship's success is wholly based on your facebook profile, you deserve to go out of business. The lady who owns that place could have easily gone to private on her FB account or closed it down for a week. If she had instead of whining about pictures being left on the profile, this would have all blown over in a week's time. The trolls would have targeted some other place and Dave would not have posted this garbage in the forum.
