Hayward an Allstar?

What did Hayward average during the run with Exum and Gobert starting 2 years ago? I am guessing he is close to those numbers. Probably a little more efficient but a few less minutes so around the same PPG?APG averages.

This isn't two years ago ,all 3 will be stronger and have better bbiq.Plus the Jazz have the personnel and depth to push and get more shots up.They won't be walking the ball up and milking the shot clock this year.

Here is another thing to consider. With Hill, Johnson, and Exum I expect the amount of possessions Utah has to go up. We had the fewest possessions in the NBA last year. It would not be difficult to get five more possessions per game and Hayward 2 more shots.

The crazy thing is that the Warriors could have 4 all-stars on one team. Has that ever happened before? He has a chance if one of them gets bumped out because of the saturation on their team.

It's happened 8 times total, with 3 times in the last 10 years (soon to be 4 times)

2006 Pistons - Hamilton, Billups, & both Wallaces
2011 Celtics - Rondo, Garnett, Pierce, Allen
2015 Hawks - Millsap, Teague, Horford, Korver

Eh. Curry has Thompson. Jordan had Bird. Malone had Stockton. Shaq and Penny, Wade, Kobe. LeBron had Wade/Bosh, Irivng/Love.

You can't win AND score a ton on your own.

Hayward will go to another level this year. I'm not saying he will be any of the players listed above, but he can get to 23-25 points per game and I think it happens this year.

I hope you're right. Because if he does take that jump from a third/fourth best option on a championship contender to a 23-25 ppg scorer, a true #1 scorer/superstar who can takeover games, then we can be a championship contender. I just don't see it. I've heard for the last three off seasons that he's going to take this big leap and it hasn't really happened. Six years into his career I feel like we know who he is as a player.

538 did their NBA projections for next year. With their CARMELO score, Hayward is one of the most volatile players in the NBA. That means when it comes to WAR, Hayward has potential to regress back to where he was a few years ago (a nice role player, a Hood type player) or he has potential to explode and have a monster season (reach an all star level).

What gives me hope he will get better is that he has been playing PG for the last 2-3 years. Now, I'll give Hayward's success the last two years to Hayward's skill and Snyder's ability to coach. I think that Snyder is a good enough coach to put Hayward in positions to be more successful this year with more talent around him. If Hayward can be successful with 2-3 more shots, he is almost a 25 pt per night scorer.

And with how few possessions we had last year, finding 2-5 more shots for Hayward a game should be easy.

I think it depends on how good we are next year. If we are in the top 5 in the west I think Hood and/or Hayward will get a ton of recognition.

Weird post. Curry won and scored a ton. So did Jordan.
If you are saying that you have to have someone else score too then duh. I never heard of a player averaging 100 pts per game. Of course others have to score too.

I do know that lebron had a total **** team his first stint in Cleveland and still went to the finals a couple of times though.

Hayward is on the court for less possessions (less minutes) due to more depth though so take those possessions away again.

1 championship for Curry does not equal a ton.
