I'm impressed with defensive performance of G-Man. Yes, Monta had it going offensively and there have been some games in which opp. guards defended by him scored too many, but that should not undermine the solid defensive job Gordon has done. I liked his defense against CP3 the other night against Clipps, too.
At some point, the Jazz accidentally (by desperately looking for options) or w/ one of guards or wings getting into shooting rhythm behind the arc, have to accomplish some degree of inside-outside balance to punish defenses which lately has built their defensive strategies just on taking dribbling away + taking easy shots away from Millsap. You definitely have to shoot it well from outside in road games, which the Jazz will play lots of in Feb. and March. I still believe that Hayward, Bell and Burks will provide that much needed 3pt shooting.
