Hayward made all stars!!!!!!!!!

I think this may be an ideal outcome. I can see Hayward feeling he had earned it, and dwelling on why he didn't. Rudy has less years in the league and I feel like he will use it for fuel to go into beast mode. I'm interested to see how they both play tonight.

This. Too bad I have to work early tomorrow and won't be able to watch. :(

Way to go Hayward! Woot woot

No Gobert!? BS. I'd take him over Thompson and Jordan.

RIP lakers bigs.

DeAndre Jordan - 12.5 PPG, 14 RPG, 1.8 BPG, 69% from the field. 30-17 team record.

Rudy Gobert - 12.8 PPG, 12.6 RPG, 2.5 BPG, 66.4% from the field. 29-18 team record.

It's basically a coin flip between those two stats wise. Jordan is more well known than Gobert and plays in LA. Nine seasons in the league against four for Rudy. Not all that surprising at all.

Now, I obviously believe Gobert is the better player without a doubt. I'm just not surprised. We should be ecstatic for Hayward though.

Gobert might win DPOY this year and has many more seasons to compete for an all-star spot in the future. We have him locked up for at least five more years too. I agree with Cy that Hayward definitely needed it more than Rudy.

Maybe Hayward realizes that he became an all-star playing in Utah and not anywhere else heading into free agency.

I'm happy as **** that we got one player in. I was worried both would miss out because of coaches and players splitting votes.

Bummer FWIW the hosts of The Starters all had Rudy in

With Paul and Griffin injured, they probably figured they had to fit a Clipper in.

Hopefully this pisses Rudy off even more.

Disappointed for Rudy. Can understand why Jordan was selected. Clippers should have somebody representing their team as good as their record is. But still think Rudy should have made it.

Not really. Per game stats dont adjust for pace - the Clippers play much faster than us. Blanket field goal % also doesn't factor in FT%. Stat-wise, it's pretty clearly Rudy, and that's before we even get into defense.

I have no problem with Jordan getting in. The Clippers are still the 4th seed in the West and should have a representative. I don't know if GS needed 4 reps though.....

Forget Jordan and the stats on here don't even touch Gobert as a player. His D as a big is astronomical. He's the biggest snub by far.

Clips all stars are injured. This "but they need a rep.." trash is just that. Trash.

Eat their souls Gobert. You're on national TV tonight.

I want a 20+ point win with a 25/25/10 line from Gobert.
