I still think Favors was the better choice, presuming it came down to either him or Tiago. Blake Griffin is the only power forward on that roster, and Favors is a way better pf than Splitter, imo. Sure, Splitters averaging a point more off of better shooting percentages (this season), but Derrick is out boarding him, MUCH better on defend, and is playing less minutes. Plus, Favors career numbers are much more impressive. He was on the ****ing All-Rookie 2nd team for crying out loud.
I think they just didn't want to put two jazz players on the roster; can't think of any other reasons.
