Who will be better in 5 years?

I think I am giving Hayward the slight edge, because I think he has more mental toughness.
Favors seems to be more laid back, and go with the flow.
I think both will be great players, but I would want Hayward to have the ball in clutch situations.
 
I voted Favors due to his natural gifts, but Hayward's ability to defend SG's, shoot, and create off the dribble blew me away the last couple weeks of the season. Very close.
 
I think Hayward in 2-3 years but in 5 years Favors should reach his full potential. Maybe sooner if the Mailman joined the jazz coaching staff.

Exactly. If you said 3 years then I'd go with Hayward.

Favors is going to be one of those guys who takes a few years for everything to click, then watch out! Look to Jermaine O'Neal for a blueprint. He hobbled along picking up 4 points per game over 4 years, then Boom! someone let him out the kennel. I think Favors can develop much faster than that, but that's up too high in the air to make a call right now. 20/10/2.5 isn't out of Favors' reach. With his offensive putback capabilities he could easily go 25 & 12. Five O boards alone will get him close to 10 ppg after he develops at the line.
 
Very very hard to choose.. it's like saying who had a better career - Stockton or Malone? Or even, Nowitzki or Nash? Kobe or Shaq?

My heart says Hayward, but my head says Favors... what can I say? I picked Hayward...
 
I voted Favors. But I think both players have a high ceiling. We could definitely build around these guys. They're both young and aren't even near their peak.
 
I have high hopes for both of these guys. I have to agree that it is going to take Favors a little longer to develop but in a 5 year span I think he well end up being the better player. But both are going to be very good I think
