I don't think anyone's expecting that. Just hoping he'd at least show a positive +/- every once in a while. He's only a couple mins less than big fess per game. Don't even get me started with evans' productivity in basically the same amount of time as hayward

Everyone who's played or watched church ball knows there is no passing involved.

Well, he had a +/- of +4 tonight. Yay.

I'm trying to figure out why any stats are important in garbage time.
 
Yah. I'm still not a fan. I see the potential.. but meh. He's just not much of a complete basketball player yet.

OBV time will tell, but I'm not really interested in watching him develop atm. He's def not demanding play time that's for sure.
 
Who needs him to be a complete player now? The Jazz are clicking on all cylinders. If he needs a few years to develop this is the time to do it.
 
Wow yet again i was right. Yall should just start listning to daddy cuz i could see this kid was bust just like doufus. I said this kid would be a bust as soon as he declared and before jazz got him. We should have gotten a piece that could actually help the team not just sell jerseys and do subway commercials.
 
Xavier henry,Cole aldrich. babbity, the kid from fresno that pacers took. Wasted pick. I was on way to vegas in was in utah listning on xm when jazz picked him. I was so pissed uz i knew they had just wasted a pick, Hell even dwill knows it but he wont say it

You're actually very close to the truth.
A. He's blending in with his teammates, getting into the flow of EACH game he enters. Each game is a little different, as is the Jazz team and plays they chose to run. I'm sure he's learning from his teammates in practice too, whenever they have time for it. Showing consistant hustle will get him more PT that how many shots he can jack up in limited minutes.
B. He's only 20; 1 year older than CJ when he came here from High School. IMO, he's miles AHEAD of CJ when he was 20; way more mature mentally.
 
I was excited hayward finally hit a 3, good for him. Hayward's defense is better than expected. His offense will come around with playing time. I still hate the pick though.

By the way my boy Larry Sanders almost had a triple double in only his second start of the season. 8 blocked shots. Just staying.
 
This whole rookie class seems like a wasted pick except for Walls. Cousins has some nice stats but is already causing problems. Babbit isn't even playing. I liked Saunders but few people had him rated high enough to pick at nine. I wanted the Jazz to drop down in the Jazz if they were not able to move up because I thought this draft's talent in the lottery was similar to the middle picks. One guy who is the biggest suprise is Fields out of Stanford. He is starting and playing really well for the Knicks.

Evans has outplayed Hayward but people forget Evans is 23 years old and Hayward is only 20 years. I think Hayward will become a decent role player if he works hard and settles down (relaxes) because right now he seems to be forcing things. I would love it if he started getting it and forced Sloan to play him. Right now he hasn't done that so it is hard to evaluate the kid. I will hold judgement since I've waited 5 years for CJ to be inconsistently productive. I think I can give Hayward some more time.
