Adding Lin is good business. He's a fan favorite, all-star weekend is all about the fans.

The NBA is Lin it to Lin it:p

No need to get bent out of shape nothing against Favors and Kanter but global fans are more interested in NY and Miami, then the small market Utah team.
 
Still, kind of a joke to throw him in after 7 games. No doubt he is good, but bending rules and making exceptions for big market players is just typical NBA.

The nation has been swept off it's feet by this story I'm happy for the kid. He seems to play the right way, and fun to watch. This is called the rising stars challenge. Is there anyone rising faster then this kid. I think he deserves to be there. I just wish KOC could've signed him.
 
I often wonder how much attention a white kid playing in Milwaukee would get if he was doing the things Lin was doing.
 
My problem is not with Lin being in the game. The beef that I have with this is that they had to select another rookie and they took Cole. Yes, he had one great game and it was on national television but he has not done much since then. Kanter should have been there in the first place and he got robbed a second time.

The NBA picked the guy they thought the fans would rather see. Kanter I think will be the better player, but let's face it fans in Ut. are the only fans that would rather see Kanter. Understand this is a business, the NBA made a business decision.
 
The NBA has always been about the fans. I'm not at all surprised by their choice of Cole over Kanter. I don't like it but that's the way it is.

Hell, put Lin in Utah, doing the exact same things and it would barely get a mention on Sportscenter........thats real as Lo Pan.
 
If Kanter got robbed from this, then Chandler Parsons did also. He is quietly having a pretty good rookie year.
