Hayward's blog eludes to the fact Corbin sucks.

Agree. He needs to stop pointing fingers and do some serious self-introspection. Hayward has a lot of growing up to do...if he gets his head on straight, concentrates on basketball (not video games or obsessing over his teenage girlfriend/wife), puts in the work during the offseason and does everything he can to improve as a player, he probably could become an all-star. Right now, I don't think he takes basketball as seriously as he should...

I hope he makes the National Team just so he can see how hard some of these guys work. I just wish he was able to see the Kobes of the world...not sure if anyone works that insanely hard in this group of guys.

I prefer other-introspection. Specifically eastern european door to door salesgoddesses.

Convenient, blame everything on Corbin. So that players, like Hayward, share zero criticism.

Doesn't anyone here think that... Maybe those on the court... Like the ones actually playing the game? Have any influence on the game's outcome?

Or is it all on Corbin?
 
All on corbin.
Players dont matter and have no influence on the outcome of the games

Who was criticized here more than Hayward, Burke, and Kanter? However Corbin ran a terrible offense and defense. He owns a great deal of the blame for the shortcoming of the team.

Yeah, Hayward didn't even imply that he had flaws! What a douche!!

Oh wait...

Working with Team USA is also helping me get ready for the upcoming season. There are a lot of adjustments I need to make to help the team succeed, and to succeed in what I’m trying to accomplish as a player.

First and foremost: I need to be a much better shooter than I was last year. I’m constantly working on shooting and continuing to develop my mid-range game. I have to get better these next couple of years.

That’s one of the reasons why I’m also working on improving as a leader. I know the Jazz want and need me to be a leader in the locker room, and on the court. I’m not an extremely vocal guy, but I’ve always led by example. That’s who the Jazz expect me to be: Somebody that the younger guys can look up to and see that I’m competing every day in practice, that I’m doing the right things and being professional.

Plus you can tell just by looking at him that he's been working his *** off. Maybe some of you should read the entire article rather than a little snippet from it...cause ya know, glass houses and all.

Where in those quotes did he talk about his teammates? He was talking about the Jazz's expectations, not his teammates or coaches.

You're right. Not third person, but still detached. Isn't it weird Hayward doesn't say "I know I need to be a leader?" He refers to the Jazz as a separate entity, not a group that he is part of. Maybe it is just semantics, but it's unusual.
