I would never buy a off season home in California. The franchise tax board will try and tax you on all of your income (sourced in or out of cali)o after doing a residency audit. Hayward could end up with a very large tax bill from this. The top income tax rate in cali is close to 10%.

I remember reading stories about how Kobe lives/lived about a hour drive time from where the Lakers practice and he would chopper in. I'm sure Gordo is planning the same......
