Looks like ESPN went around to every stadium (NBA NFL MLB NHL) and tested the food being served. Check out the Staples Center, Sushi at a basketball game? You deserve getting sick.

Soooo what we've learned from the article is that Jazz fans should not get hot dogs during the games

US Airways Center
Phoenix Suns
Vendors with critical violations: 38%

Inspection report excerpt: One location faced possible closure over pest problems after inspectors in December found mouse droppings and, upon reinspection, found "dozens of flies and a live roach" in the dish room.

Ok...uh...they probably ought to look into that.

EDIT:

Invesco Field at Mile High Stadium

This stuff is gold.

EDIT#2:

Inspection report excerpt: In June 2009, an employee complained anonymously that small insects and other debris were blended into frozen alcoholic beverages at a stand where equipment wasn't being cleaned. When inspectors checked, they issued a critical violation for a buildup of slime inside the frozen drinks machine.

Doesn't everyone have a 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy on hot dogs? I don't want to want to know anything about the hot dog I'm eating, and I've never deluded myself into thinking there was anything safe about eating a hot dog.

All I ever get at the ESA is the pizza.

Even then, I only go to the one where the nice old ladies work because I know they're too sweet to ever **** up someone's food. Anyone who buys any food from those punk *** teenagers must be insane.

Madison Square Garden
New York Knicks, New York Rangers
Vendors with critical violations: 61%

Inspection report excerpt: At one stand, inspectors found "53 mouse excreta" (38 on top of a metal box underneath the cash registers in the front food-prep/service area and 15 on top of a carbonated-beverage dispensing unit).

I worked at the Orange Julius in the Towne Centre Mall in Provo about 7 years ago. The juice is good, but don't buy a hot dog.
