I have posted on here before about the heat and no air conditioning in Germany. I read this today and, well holy **** that's hot.

Attention people on the U.S. East Coast "suffering" through the recent heat wave: you've got nothing on the poor residents of Bandar Mahshahr, Iran.

The coastal town that hit a heat index of 154 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday topped that with a reading just over 165 degrees on Friday, according to University of Miami researcher Brian McNoldy.

That is ridiculous. I have experienced heat in the 120's (in Death Valley visiting my mother-in-law...no joke and a joke all at the same time). I could not imagine 165 degrees. That is not too far off temps I try for in my barbecue to cook certain meats (200 degree for brisket for part of the cook for example).

Wow.

Wow.

Heat index not temperature. It was 115 degrees but 'felt' like 154 when you factor in the humidity. That's still crazy though.

Why does/did your Mother-in-law live in Death Valley?

Why does/did your Mother-in-law live in Death Valley?

She doesn't live there, just in her weird warped mind it was halfway between where she lived at the time (Vegas) and where we lived at the time (L.A.). And, being she is satan's sister she is more comfortable there.

Ok that last part wasn't fair, she's ok, just has had a rough life and made some bad choices. But it fit better for the joke.
