Help me

I've thoroughly enjoyed all the Jazz games I've watched the past few years, and i'm no die-hard fan, I watch blowouts and garbage minutes too. Not saying that things couldn't be better, I don't have the audacity to complain though.. This is live sports, If you want something scripted to your satisfaction I'm sure there's some weird tentacle porno thats right up your alley.

Perhaps you'd say my standards are low, I'd say I have some of the most unreasonable standards of anyone you've ever met though, and it's the truth, I don't even give chicas that aren't borderline model material the time of day..(call me an *******, I don't lead them on for some sort of psychological satisfaction -- which is what many in my position would do)..

The Jazz couldn't **** up bad enough for me to lament watching the games. It's not nearly a big enough deal for me to regret how I spent my time... Thats just how I feel:cool:

The refs ****ing up a game is much more likely to piss me off than a bad result, and I don't usually get mad over a call for more than a minute or 2, I'm totally not a ref hater/blamer (though I do think I could do their job better than them), bad refs can't hold a candle next to bad judges in boxing(Olympic or Professional)..

A bad draft pick will really piss me off too. I didn't like Burke but he's no bust, it's not a big deal, I disliked that pick like I disliked the Danilo Gallinari pick for NY, same level. I rooted for both of them wholeheartedly knowing that everyone's replaceable, even legends.. lessons get learned and hopefully mistakes don't repeat themselves(as they did for the Knicks all those years in a row)..

Ya gotta keep context like human-error in mind, Every team has a 'risk of ruin', injuries happen, some players are more susceptible than others though, there's logic and reason involved, it's certainly not God punishing Jazz fanz...

Even though the NBA is big business, It's still just a game and **** certainly happens.. Not being an instant gratification whore like many sportsfans these days puts you in the minority, and thats where I reside..

To me; this team this year is great to watch, it's precisely my type of team for like more reasons than i care to list, I think they kinda play Big East basketball.. I like a team that can play close games win or lose, reminds me of something Peter Gammons used to repeat about (baseball) teams with really lopsided records in 1 run games -- He'd say those things normalize over time. I kinda think thats whats gonna happen with the Jazz too, getting healthy will certainly help too, but those healthy bodies will probably end up with too much credit. Things like that are more cyclical than they appear on a day-to-day basis..

Being a Knicks fan, the way that I was, fairly die-hard (I deal with losses like a boss, always have), I hated the ******** excuses people were making and the way fault was place on scapegoats like Eddy Curry. also I really disliked the owner, I think Dolan's clearly an imbecile, I contend that he was just stringing the fans along, piling **** ontop of **** ontop of ****, knowing that owning the Knicks means you can't lose.. That was wearing on my love for the NBA game. The Knicks were turning me into one of those " I like College basketball better than the NBA" weirdo's

Also Dolan's just playing with his fathers fortune, like a child, I don't **** with that, at-all. dude thought it was a good idea to buy 'The Wiz' an electronics franchise chain that became antiquated shortly after the purchase..

Being a Knicks fan was wearing on my love for the game, I was younger and more malleable though... I was really tired of explaining basic **** to Knicks fans that thought they knew their **** too. I actually post where I used to back in the day as a Knicks fan, and they all still want me back, but my allegiance is with the Jazz.

Perhaps this is a bit grandiose but each game is a celebration of sport and competition in my eyes, the wins and losses, I've found like most things, it's kinda what you make of it, I'm an optimist, not by choice but by nature, so it's nothing but water under the bridge to me...

Corbin had 3 seasons to install an offense. There's a reason he still isn't coaching ANYWHERE in the NBA. For whatever reason the Millers felt he deserved a contract no other NBA front office sees it that way. Quin Snyder is widely regarded as one of the best in the business already by those within the NBA.

Corbin's offense was one of the best in the NBA after adjusting for talent. The reason he isn't coaching is the same reason many greats have been fired. Fans like you.

Old School PG there. Reminds me of your first post. I'm glad you are still around here. Good stuff in there.

I remember watching after the Sloan retirement. Dark days. The body language of the team was as bad as I had ever seen. I knew that until that changed, the Jazz would be really bad at basketball. I remember watching to see if a player was going to show they had some hope. Lots of posters were saying they couldn't watch. That team finished out 8-20 with a roster of prime Dwill, Millsap, AJ, Hayward, AK, CJ (he's doing good now. Pretty bad when that group is a bottom feeder.

We are 5 years past that. For me, this team is tons of fun to watch.

If I'm being honest, I would not really have much of a problem with this season if I didn't have a large bet on the amount of wins the jazz get.

Since I do have allot of money riding on this season, and I'm having my first child this year and could really use that money, I hate everyone and everything. Especially favors
I forgot about that. What's the number you need them to get to?

Unless they go on a run like last year, they're going to struggle to finish .500 or above. Sorry boss. Had they stayed healthy, I'd think they'd have gotten there easily. They'll have to go 23-16 to get to 42.

I'll root for you though. 42 needs to be their goal. Hopefully getting Gobert, Favors and Burks healthy to finish the season will be the difference.

I agree with everything in your post.

If they stayed mostly healthy then I think it was easy money
