Yahoo Sports shows that Garrett and Hayward are the top assist guys at 5 per game. Garrett played 21 minutes last night. Tinsley is third in assists per game. No ball movement equals no scoring.

...or no one being able to hit open shots = no assists...

or no offensive set equals no team unity
so no passing.

i see no offensive identity.

why did garret get assist cus he does not know corbins crapfense and went with basic pick and roll basketball

Or they could be throwing the ball to the other team. Have you seen our turnovers? Hard to get an assist when the ball is going the other way.

Or you mean how bad the PGs have been. What big man averages 5 assists?

So... There are only like 25 players in the league who get more assists than 5 per game... That includes all players, not just point guards.

Kevin Love, Kevin Durant, Batum, Iggy and LeBron are the only non guards to average more than 5 assists per game this season. This thread is whack.

AK in the day could do that.

Ak was a good passer, but never averaged more than 4.3 assists in his career. 5 assists per game from a non guard is elite. Shoot, 5 assists per game from a shooting guard like Hayward is pretty damn good.

So, should the Jazz make Hayward the PG? Ridiculous on the surface, might not be the craziest idea under the circumstances. Maybe we should wait and see what our Burke can do after about 10 games.

Hayward , technically a SF is averaging 5 right now.

you must have Yugo genes stacked up somewhere in your genetic foundation Grandpa!
Now that Jazz are tankin', they must be able to think out of the box sometimes and let Gordy H. man the PG position.
that is instant player development.

he basically is the pg right now, he just doesnt bring it across half court (thank god)
