IMO there are too many teams leaning towards trading down. Somebody is going to end up trading down for a relatively small return. I hope it's not us.

Edit for cocktail mistype.

I saw Portland almost traded batum and Miller for Parker in some kins of package. So it got me exciteds to here batum was offered and it just gets me to hope Utah trades Harris for Miller batum. Even if the package was Miller, batum, Fernandez, and there pick for Harris and. The 12 pick that would be awesome. Jazz use there picks on kanter, Jackson and Portland gets a new starting PG and a decent chance to land a talented big man at 12.

Miller, Jackson
Hayward, Fernandez, bell
Batum, miles, Evans
Favors, millsap
Jefferson, kanter

Great team with an amazing bench

My preferences for #3 are:
1-Williams
2-Kanter
3-Knight

Obvioulsy at least 1 of these players will be gone by 3 so it will end up being an either/or scenario which I'll feel pretty happy about no matter what. I don't think The Jazz trade the 3rd pick unless they get a proven starter without a bloated contract - which probably won't happen.

The Jazz may or may not trade the #12 pick; but if they do prepare to be underwhealmed. There is always plenty of blathering but when it comes to pulling the trigger on a trade I don't think there will be much demand for anyone to have the #12 pick in this draft. Barring a trade I'm happy with the following players:

Walker (yeah I think he can fall here if The Jazz pick Kanter or Williams)
Fredette
Hamilton

(Burks will be gone by 12 and for that I thank whoever picks him)

Jazz have to improve outside shooting next year and all 3 of these players will make a contribution off the bench. And all 3 will be better shooters than Bell or Miles within 2 years and all 3 will bring a zone busting reputation much like Kyle Korver.

I'm not crazy about any of the front court players in the 12 range. I think The Morris twins and Singleton are all career role players at best. I think Jeremy Evan will have as good a career as all 3 of these players. Quite frankly, I think Biyomobo is at best a one-trick pony and quite possibly a complete fraud. And Motiejunas is another soft Euro.
