What's new

He's baaaackkkk...

I was an average fan when The nWo was born, and then I was hooked. Probably the finest hour in sports entertainment is when 'The Outsiders' and Hulk Hogan revealed their plans. TV history.

Well, since wrestling fans are coming out of the closet, I will throw my hat in the ring too. I'm with Trout in that I watched it religiously back during the nWo days and still keep an eye on it today. It beats the hell out of Jersey Shore. My favorite was always Mankind/Cactus Jack/Dude Love/Mick Foley. The guy writes a hell of a book and made possibly the most entertaining tag-team of all time with the Rock and Sock Connection.

I was totally joking in my post though... HAHA, LOSER!!!

I got hooked with NWO and Goldberg. Then I went on my mission and never have gotten back into it. I'll occasionally watch it, but that's about it.

Loudest crowd I've ever heard live was Monday Nitro at the E-Center. Goldberg faced The Giant in a dark match after the show ended and the noise for Goldberg's entrance was louder than any Jazz playoff game I've been to, and that includes the Finals.

Remember the Rumble when he wrestled as all 3 characters. That was classic. "bang bang!"

George "The Animal" Steel was great.

I met George "The Animal" Steele's at a street fair in Menlo Park, NJ and managed to get his autograph on an 8x11 color photo of him chewing on a turnbuckle for 10 bucks.

I'll be 38 in June and that's the only autograph I've ever acquired in my life.

For sure...also, the infamous Hell in a Cell with the Undertaker. Gotta be an all-time great. I met him for all of five and a half seconds at a car show in SLC. The line was out the door to see him, but we waited behind a pillar and just kind of blended in towards the front. People were bringing him personalized cakes, full-size posters, I had him sign a photo that I had purchased. He made sure to have a small conversation with everyone in line. Seemed very down to earth. I can't believe he can still walk with all the legitimate injuries he's had.
