Let's hear it JazzFanz....

Exum potential = #1 offensive weapon on your team

Gordon potential = ultimate 2 way player

Both might be available at #5....

I picked Gordon just because I would be excited to watch him.

Like I've stated numerous times, Exum is a mystery to me. Hard for me to have any strong feelings on him other than I have serious doubts about him being an actual PG.

Kawhai Leonard vs Tony Parker

Who's more valuable to the Spurs????? Who's harder to replace?????

I think it was Locke and many other people I have heard say there are more good point guards in the league than any other position. Because there are more guys 5'11" to 6'4" that come into the league than any other size. Kawhi Leonard is the future of the Spurs franchise not Tony Parker.

I watch the videos of Exum and I really don't get excited about what I'm seeing. Can't say the same when I watch Gordon. His lateral quickness and explosiveness jumps out at you.

That's not what I'm saying.

I'm saying, if you can choose 1 player at the start of their careers - who would you choose? Parker or Kawhi??? Parker did win all those Chips and Kawhii had a couple of good Finals game but he hasn't actually won anything YET.

I know but I'm pretty sure you could replace Tony Parker's output with ease more so than Kawhi Leonard's. Both were pretty much none factor's in their first few seasons, because I remember when teams wouldn't guard Parker because he couldn't shoot ala Ronnie Brewer but now Parker can shoot and Kawhi's role is going to get bigger, because the Spurs the last few years haven't been able to get over the top until Kawhi developed into a go to scorer and now this season they're going to beat the past two time champs because of Kawhi Leonard, so it's basically a wash but the Spurs did win one when Parker couldn't shoot but needed Leonard to find his shot to win this time.

I don't think it's about replacing somebody's output. It's do you have the IT factor to propel your team to the Finals and win it numerous times.

How is Exum comparable to Parker? Kind of a shot in the dark comparison. Doubt Exum will ever have Parker's ability to penetrate with such ease.

Dante Exum's 3/4 court sprint time of 3.19 is better than Chris Paul (3.22), Steph Curry (3.28), Damian Lillard (3.34).

Exum's lane agility of 10.75 is faster than John Wall, Kemba Walker, Ty Lawson and Lillard.

In terms of BPA I think they're very very close. Both have questionable shot. Exum has offense. Gordon has defense. Too close to call.

On that basis I've gone with "need". And I think with Burke, Burks and Hayward, we really NEED a lockdown defensive SF who can slash, and so I've gone with Aaron Gordon.

But his sprint is slower than Trey Burke and lane agility slower than R.Foye or Jimmer. Watch games - not numbers from combine. D.Rose was terrible in lane agility, anybody want to argue he is slower than Exum?;)...

Isn't rose in a wheelchair right now? I'll go with Exum. ;)
