It's funny, I don't mind Harpring and I laugh when I see you guys complaining about him, so for me it is win-win. Except the Jazz lose a lot, so it is win-win-lose.

I think Harpring is rather entertaining. I don't understand all the hate on this site for him. But then this site is full of know it alls and haters. I only still post here because of habit. I wanted to get banned awhile back so it would force me off, but it never happened.

I welcome every game done by Ron Boone. Usually I don't even notice for a couple quarters until I start asking myself "why am I not flying into an uncontrollable rage as per usual?" Then I realize what's different.

I have lived in 5 NBA cities and I travel a lot so I have listened to a lot of announcers. I rate Boone at the low end and have wondered why the Jazz keep him. I think Harp is one of the best. Hollinger got this one right.

one question: Have any of you ever actually used an "Intelli-bed"



and it seems to me that Harp is one of the least "homeristic" announcers around

but Stacey King, the Bulls color commentator, could certainly give him a run for his money in the deep-throated little growl category - - and they're the only two I've noticed that really do that. Anyone else come to mind?

I don't know anything about Harpring's deep throating growls, but I do know he is fair to good at his color commentator job.

I watched the Kings vs Thunder last night, and the King's commentator team was BRUTAL.

This is the problem with this site -- ever since Deron came aboard, all these wise *** young guys took over the site. And instead of talking basketball, people would make constant ad hominem comments like yours. It ruined the site. There are some people like Not Dead Yet who ignores the juvenile crap, and that's what I should do too.

I blame the mods for letting this happen. Instead of policing it though, they joined in. So, ultimately Jason and Colton are to blame.
