With the free agent camp the Jazz are hosting June 9-11. Interesting names listed on the Jazz website include Brock Motum, Jarvis Vernardo, a couple of former teammates of Little Sap in the DLeague and a former first round draft pick that ended up with the Stampede last season. I wonder if Motum being here tips there a hand a little as far as the draft and/or Tomic goes. I think there is a typo on the Jazz website as one of the players identified is the same as the Kentucky player that is slated to be the 9th to 12th player taken in the first round.

I hope Motum gets his shot to join the actual Jazz team. With Kanter gone, there could be a spot for him.

Nice find.

Here is the link to the players list. https://www.nba.com/jazz/news/jazz-host-mini-camp-zions-bank-basketball-center

And no, it is not likely a mistake. There are two Devon Booker basketball players. This one is probably the 24yr old from Clemson who played in France last season.

Nick wiggins is older brother to Andrew Wiggins.

Yeah, Nick played here at Wichita State. He's one of those guys who could/COULD have a shot on an NBA bench, but for every great play he'd make he make another that would practically give Marshall a blood clot.

Bringing back Brock Motum would be interesting. I like him A LOT more than Jack Cooley. Think that's the roster spot that's up for grabs. Don't think that he effects the draft or Tomic/Pleiss very much TBH.

Motum's shooting is intriguing, but his rebounding is horrific.

Always thought Kane had a spot in the league when I watched him in college, like that we're looking at all these guys.

The Jazz sure do kick over a lot of rocks. I'm glad that they do. Hopefully it means that they find the Jeremy Lin, DeMarre Carroll and Hassan Whiteside's of the world. Guys who've been bounced around, but just need the right opportunity to be successful.

Question: What is "B-roll footage?"

Jody? Locke Alt? anyone?

Motum finished both 5th in scoring and rebounding in the Australian league he played in last year. Josh Childress lead the league in scoring and rebounding and is a former No. 1 NBA Draft pick.

Jazz wanted to red-shirt Brock last year and have him sign with Idaho. Instead, he had a very good year playing in Australia. Wouldn't surprise me to see him make the team over Cooley or Jerrett.

I think B-roll footage is in their underwear.
Lol. Very funny!

B-roll is the secondary footage that often runs in the background of a news story, so they're probably telling the media that they can have cameras rolling during certain parts of the event. Oftentimes b-roll is used again and again, though I wouldn't imagine that's likely to happen in this instance. KSL used to use b-roll I was in every time they ran a skiing story for several years.

Still kind of mad at CJ Leslie for busting my bracket a few years ago. Leslie, Richard Howell, and T.J. Warren all on the same team sucked me in to picking NC State all the way......out in the first round. Suckas.

Vernado, Kane, and Motum seem to be the standout names on that list. I could see any of those guys on the Jazz. Vernardo always looks like the most physically imposing guy in summer league every year - kind of surprised he hasn't stuck in the NBA as a backup big.

Jarvis does have an NBA ring with the Heat. I see he is playing in Puerto Rican League and leading the league in blocked shots. For all you Carlos Arroyo fans he is playing in that league average about 18 points and 7 dimes.

Varnado, you clutz.
