What's new

Hood in January

This is what u get with one of the youngest teams in the league. Teams don't usually become great over night, then add the fact we've been riddled with injury from our best players, then add the fact we don't have good pg play.

Despite all of this mentioned, we are still in the hunt for a playoff spot with all of these distractions. Says something about the direction of this team. They are learning to play through diversity.

Dooooooood!!! We are tied for the final spot in the playoffs. Plenty of season left.
I have a feeling we're going to move from the "they're too young" excuse right into the "they're old" excuse.

Exum will be an immediate upgrade due to his defense and ability to move the ball. He's also a full-time scoring threat due to his ability to get in the lane.

All in? Not sure.

Exum is not at all a scoring threat. His only option in the lane was to pass it and more than half percent of his offensive type was spot-ups.

Actually not really healthy.
(Burks and exum are out)

But ya, I noticed that once favors and Gobert were both back we went on the first win streak that we have had in a long time. We look much better now. Which is to be expected when we are healthier

Pop the corks! Jazz have a two game streak with HOME wins against the 22-25 Hornets and the 14-34 TWolves. Yes, definitely feeling like a team on the rise. Bring on the Warriors and Spurs!

Was going to say the same. OCCASIONALLY, Exum would find an open player in the lane, But generally Dante would just continue his dribble until he was outside the paint again and then pass off to a wing. Have people forgotten Dante averaged 4.8 pts (on 35%/31%) and 2.4 assists in 22 minutes?

He wasn't last year. Was probably the youngest, or close to. Plus, he hadn't played for close to a year before his rookie year. Also looked way aggressive, and in attack mode in his one SL game. Yes, I know it's just summer league, but u could see he had a different swag to him in that game.

He's long and quick as hell, and I expect him to be stronger quicker and a different player.

He would surely improve but I don't think it would change our offensive woes. I don't believe he would be better than Neto offensively. His defense would change everything though.

Jazz are so dumb for not drafting Booker. A 3 wing combo of Booker,Hood, and Hayward would be dominant.

Lyles has been fine, and Booker has been better than I'd expected. Both guys look promising at this point. Lyles looks to have legitimate stretch 4 potential. I'm happy with that for now.

Where they missed out on was drafting Burke over Giannis.

Antetokounmpo, Hayward, Burks and Hood would have been fabulous.

If I had a nickle for every time a woman told me I had stretch 4 potential, I'd have a whole lot of nickles.

I was simply saying that the jazz are much better with favors and Gobert on the court.
Do you disagree?
